Dr Mohit Jain is a highly qualified and competent ophthalmologist with more than 15 years of experience. He has done ophthalmic residency and Retina & Uvea fellowship from prestigious “All India Institute of Medical Sciences” (AIIMS), New Delhi, India.
After 6 years long extensive and rigorous ophthalmology surgical training at AIIMS, New Delhi, he further refined skills during International Retinal Fellowship at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary (NYEEI), New York, USA.
He learned the advance management of Ocular Immunological Disorders & uveitis under Dr Stephen Foster at the Massachusetts Eye Research and Surgery Institution (MERSI), Boston, USA.
He is a Fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology (FICO), Fellow (Retina) of All India Collegium of Ophthalmology (FAICO) and Member of Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS), Edinburgh, UK.
Dr Jain has expertise in most advanced techniques for cataract and refractive surgeries such as Femtosecond laser-assisted phacoemulsification procedures, Femtosecond refractive LASIK procedures, Refractive lens exchange, Advance cataract surgery with TORIC, EDOF, Multifocal and premium intraocular lenses . He is passionate for surgical and medical management of retinal conditions like retinal detachment, retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), vitreous haemorrhage, Macular hole and various other retinal surgical conditions.
Dr Mohit has received numerous accolades and awards. His research work has been published in various reputable index journals and presented at prestigious conferences worldwide.
With over a decade of dedicated practice in the United Arab Emirates, Dr. Jain has established himself as a leading eye surgeon in UAE.
Dr. Jain serves as a Retina and Cataract specialist at NMC Royal Hospital in Sharjah. He also holds a weekly outpatient clinic at NMC Royal Clinic in Ras Al Khaimah, ensuring comprehensive eye care across the Northern Emirates.
